An active exhibitor at Pacific Northwest science fiction and fantasy convention art shows, Russell also 
occasionally mails out work to other parts of the U.S.  He primarily works in pen and ink and colored 
pencil, though he's been known to use watercolor and acrylic occasionally, and is experimenting with 
doing some artwork on the computer.  His work tends to run from mild horror to good-natured humor and 
is generally fantasy oriented.  He works a day job as a Senior Programmer-Analyst for a manufacturing 
company in Portland, Oregon.
